Log home labor

Every 5 years--yes, can hardly believe it's been that long since we moved in--you need to "renew" the exterior of a log home. That's caulking/washing /recoating the logs. And thank goodness for the Genie lift machine. Terry perches high in a box--much safer than a ladder or scaffolding. Lots of work but he's the man for the job! In 3 days, he'd pretty much done both ends and the peaks. I got vertigo just watching!

Danny B. who did our fireplace is now finishing our rock on the basement. Our last big project--we hope anyway. He's doing a wonderful job. He's a rock "artist"!
