Family time at convention

Looking at pictures of our island friends--JulieLynn and Clara came for convention here.

We had a wonderful convention. We went to see Gretchen before she is off to the islands again. Kelly wasn't able to come due to an urgent work assignment. We missed him!
It was rainy, yes, but it was a beautiful area.
And the last 2 pictures show what Memorial Day driving is all about around Olympia. But yes, it was worth it--many times over!

May day(s) of summer--2?

Ithink we got Wayne to smile for a picture because he'd just had German chocolate cake..Terry and Jim's birthdays give us an excuse for a family gathering.

We try out Terry's "woods walk".

"Do centipedes bite, Daddy?"
a beautiful day for a stroll.....

.........and this is how the day ended for Jim......and that is another story for another day

Happy Mother's Day to all you special moms out there!

Justin treats Ethel and his Mom and Dad to a wonderful Mother's Day brunch. No we didn't do happy hour, we just liked the hydroplane(125th Street Grill).

Auntie and Bonnie with beautiful flowers from Judi.

May 3rd, Myron and Darlene's 50th at Anthony's in Tri-Cities. A wonderful event--two special people!

There's a large mole in our yard? Terry is attempting to make mowing easier than the jarring experience it is now. We wanted native, well guess what ya gotta mow native and when you nearly knock every joint out just getting the mower across the "native", you decide to add dirt and grass seed.
Terry is borrowing Dick's 43 Ford tractor that has been on the Miltown grounds for years.
Ok...here we mow again!.....
